Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
  • Welcome to Hanoi Noi Bai international airport
  • You are welcomed by Impress Travel’s guide & driver then it takes about 50 minutes by vehicle to get into Hanoi city. . (Notice: hotel official check in is from 14:00, hotel early check in is NOT included, and is subject to hotel availability and regulation; hotel early check in can be available on request)
  • You enjoy your free & easy time to take a rest to recover from jet lag after long-hour flights

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour Full Day (B/L/-)
  • Pick up at your hotel, start the tour on to beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shores of West Lake and visit to Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house – where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. The next place to move to is One Pillar Pagoda – a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Then we pass by the well-known Hanoi train street for photo stop if you wish.
  • Lunch served at a local restaurant for a taste of authentic Hanoi cuisine.
  • Afternoon, choose one of the city’s museums (History Museum and Ethnology Museum, Hoa Lo Prison which once known as “Hanoi Hilton”). Back to downtown for refreshment by Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) before taking cyclo tour through the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities.

*Optional: Late afternoon, enjoy watching a Water puppet show for one hour – a unique traditional performance of Vietnam or enjoy a fascinating circus Ionah show Hanoi before ending this Hanoi city tour at your hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi - Traditional Craft & Ancient Village (B/L/-)
  • 07:00 – 07:45 Pick you up and departure to visit Chuong village is famous for its own iconic conical hat products, also called “Non la” in Vietnamese.
  • 08:45 Arrive the traditional village is regarded as the oldest conical hat craft village in Northern Vietnam as local villagers have preserved the craft for more than three centuries. The unique Vietnamese conical hats and the graceful Ao dai make Vietnamese women more gentle and charming. The conical hat has given a discreet charm to Vietnamese women, become a unique symbol of Vietnamese culture.
  • 09:45 – 10:00 Visit Quang Phu Cau incense village is famous for its tradition of making incense since the French colonial period. Coming here, visitors can visit the traditional aroma production process, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the ancient village You will be able to freely take photos with local people and various colourful incense bouquets. Our local guide will help you understand the formation of the incense stick craft village through the ages.
  • 11:00 Drive you to Duong Lam ancient village.
  • 12:30 Have lunch at local restaurant in Duong Lam ancient village.
  • 14:00 Take a bike to visit ancient gate of village, Mong Phu village’s communal house, place of fairy Mia, Giang Van Minh professor’s temple, Mia Pagoda – which has the most ancient states in Vietnam. Freely explore the ancient village.
  • 16:00 Leave Duong Lam ancient village and drive straight back to Hanoi centre.
  • 17:30 Arrive in Hanoi, and we will drop you off at your hotel or private address in the Hanoi Old Quarter
  • Stay overnight in Hanoi
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)
  • Depart Hanoi for Ha Long/Lan Ha Bay approximately three hours away. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay (approx. mid-day), leave the noise of the city behind as we will board our junk cruise for a delicious seafood lunch. After lunch we have the chance to explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the bay. Then our captain will find a secluded spot for swimming and sun bathing before dinner. Enjoy another seafood feast for dinner and for the night owls, there is an option of night fishing.
  • Overnight on board.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight To Hue (B/L/-)
  • Rising to the lapping waters of the bay we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. This morning we continue to cruise around the bay to find more secluded areas to either swim or kayak in. The kayaks are lightweight and easy to use. All guests will be issued with water buoyancy vests and the junk will be near us at all times serving as a backup vessel. At midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey back to Hanoi. We should be back in the capital at around 3 pm.
  • Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue.
  • On your arrival in Hue, our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel.
  • Overnight in Hue

Day 6: Hue City Tour Full Day (B/L/-)
  • Have breakfast at hotel.
  • Visit Hue Imperial City, including the Hue citadel, the Flag tower, main entrance gate with the Noon Gate with the Five Phoenix Pavilions, entering through the gate to visit the Thai Hoa Palace ( the great Harmony Palace where Nguyen Kings held court ), the Royal Theatre, Nine Dynasty Urns, Five Phoenix Tower…
  • Lunch is served at restaurant
  • Visit King Minh Mang’s Tomb & Khai Dinh Tomb
  • Aboard a small dragon boat trip on the Perfume River to enjoy the landscape along two banks of Huong river, boat trip ends at pier where you get off for a visit to the Thien Mu Pagoda ( Celestial Lady Pagoda ), one of the oldest and most beautiful Pagoda in Hue, and listening to the tale about the Celestial Lady and how the Pagoda was constructed.

Day 7: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An Ancient Town
  • After breakfast at your hotel, you enjoy your free time at leisure or visit the Dong Ba Market & check out the hotel
  • Leaving Hue, we depart to Hoian, stopover on the summit of the Hai Van Mountain Pass ( of 30 km length ) for a sightseeing tour and taking photographs from the top of the mountain.. (it is from the top of the Hai Van Mount Pass, where you may see a breathtaking scenery of the panoramic view of the Eastern Sea especially the white sandy Lang Co Beach all in your vision)
  • In the afternoon, we a visit the Marble mountain which is a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble, and named after the 5 essential elements including metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains are a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels, and temples all just waiting to be discovered.
  • Visit Hoi An Ancient town
  • On arrival in Hoi An, check-in the hotel and overnight at the hotel in Hoi An

Day 8: Hoi An – Tra Que Vegetable Village – Water Wheel Package 3in1 – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)
  • Hotel breakfast. Then your will be transferred by car or you can take bicycle from hotel to Tra Que village to join in Water Wheel Package 3in1 with cooking class.
  • After lunch, transfer traight to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh.
  • On arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, being picked up and transferred to Hotel in HCM city

      • Visiting the vegetable village and the ponds nearby with an ecology system of fishes, drop buffalo, chickens, ducks, etc.
      • Participating in growing vegetables directly with local farmers such as digging, landing board, making beds for plants, watering, etc.
    2. Rice paper making
      • Guests will be guided how to make rice paper making: soak the rice, grind the rice by hand. Then they will directly make rice paper.
    3. Cooking
      • Making some local dishes specialties as our menus
    4. Foot massage
      • Foot relaxes by some herbals from Tra Que vegetable garden.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/-)
  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • 08:00am, the sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, The Reunification Palace, The War Remnants Museum
  • Lunch is served at restaurant
  • Watching a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps, the remains of an American tank and numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. For those interested there’s even the opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Detail – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)
  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Pick up from the hotel, and transfer you to Mekong River Delta to Cai Be.
  • On arrival, start your tour with a visit to Cai Be floating market place (the market is most busy in very early morning only, which is a very typical floating market in the Mekong delta region ).
  • Our boat will stop for a visit to some local factories making Coconut candies, rice crispy cakes, rice papers making workshop, you will have chance to visit to some Ancient houses typical of local land lords in the early 20th century, with the blend of Oriental and Western architectural styles
  • A delicious lunch will be served at a local house in the cool shade of An Binh Island’s orchards.
  • In the afternoon, take a traditional rowboat and venture deeper into the countryside, floating through narrow canals to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
  • Stop at a nursery garden to discover how farmers along the delta produce their world-famous fruits and vegetables.
  • The cruise ends around 3:30 PM in Vinh Long, meet again our driver for a drive back to Ho Chi Minh City

Day 11: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)
  • Start a new day with your breakfast at hotel.
  • Let’s make an early bird then have breakfast before taking a motor-boat along the river to visit the Cai Rang floating Market, perhaps one of the most colorul and unique of all kind of local markets in Vietnam, hundreds of boats with full of stuffs of all kinds have flocked to the Market for exchanging their products (notice: The Market is most busy in very early morning)
  • We continue the cruise and walk on a quite country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the residents as they go about their daily routines. Visit a noodle factory, and tropical fruit gardens like papaya, mango, pineapple…
  • Spend a short time for cycling around the village will give you a fantastic way to experience local life. We say goodbye your host and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on the way.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B/-/-)
