Day 1: Arrival Phnom Penh

You’ll be arriving in the city of Phnom Penh, where you’ll be welcomed by our friendly, English speaking tour guide who will show you to your hotel. After a long flight, unwinding is your first port of call!

Day 2: Phnom Penh City tour

There’s no better way to throw you into the turbulent regional history than to show you the dark side first; with a trip to the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (Known as the S21); a former school and later a prison for the brutal Khmer Regime. You’ll be given an indepth insight into how this regime operated, before being taken 15km outside the city to the infamous killing fields.

Here you will find a tranquil and beautiful memorial site over the mass graves of the former inmates of the S21 prison who met their end here in the fields. It is said there are thousands of victims, some of which still remain unexcavated.

After lunch, you’ll be shown to Wat Phnom Hill, to see the monument to the glory of the city of Phnom Penh, and a stone to mark its legend.

And finally, a rounded off trip to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda is a fitting way to finish your induction into the culture, where you can gaze upon the staggering 5000 silver tiles that make up the floor of the temple; a total of five tons of precious metal can be seen here! And you’ll get the chance to see the holiest Buddha image of Cambodia, the Preah Keo, or Emerald Buddha.

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Battambang-Wat Ek Phnom

With a hearty breakfast, take a walk through the city of Battambang, full of a myriad of charming, mystical gardens, as well as take a drive across the banks of the Sangke river to gaze upon the beautiful landscapes and countryside on your way to Wat Ek Phnom. And with a stop at the Prohoc Market, you’re sure to learn quite a lot about the Cambodian cuisine along the way!

Day 4: Battambang – Siem Reap

Today will be an induction across the many museums across the city, playing host to hundreds of fascinating artefacts, such as carved lintels from the surrounding temples situated in the nearby area and some of the oldest Buddha statues in the country on display. It’s accented by a drive to the cultural village of Watkor, playing host to huge numbers of ancient wooden houses which remarkably still stand strong today.

It is here that the second leg of your journey begins, as you transfer to Siem Reap for a night of rest with a stay in our great hotel.

Day 5: Angkor Heritage Tour

Today will be an insightful cultural look at Siem Reap, and a visit to some very eerie, yet curiously fascinating temples of Bayon, Baphound, Phimenakas and the Terrace of the Elephant, all situated at the south gate of the city. And you’ll be taken later to the Ta Prohm temple; a historical enigma in itself. Unlike all the other surrounding temples, which you will also get to visit, it was abandoned shortly after its foundation, and has become overgrown with jungle, yet perfectly preserved for all to see.

Make sure you get a lovely rest after seeing these magnificent sights!

Day 6: Banteay Srey – Banteay Samre

With breakfast in your system, you’ll be going to see a whole host of ancient temples, playing host to a myriad of relics and treasures to sink your teeth into, and enrich your mind with the rich cultural heritage they show. These will include the Banteay Srey and the Banteay Samre, as well as the Banteay Kdei temples.

And like all your days here, it will be topped up with a scrumptious lunch.

After that, you’ll be taking a trip to the world heritage site of Angkor Wat, where hundreds of ancient carvings and the story of religious history throughout the region can all be found here. It’ll be topped off by the chance to see a beautiful panoramic sunset  over Phnom Bakheng hill!

Day 7: Tonle Sap floating Village  – Departure

You will have one final stop this morning before making your departure; and that’s the mystic floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. It’s a network of beautiful wooden homes all built above the water with all infrastructure done on the top of the river. It’s a feat of architecture to be feasted upon!

Though after your enlightening journey, trailblazing across South East Asia, it’s time for your departure back home, and after some time gathering souvenirs, we’ll transfer you back to the airport. Though be sure to visit again soon! We’ll definitely miss you!
